THE PROMOTER’S PLEDGE

As a promoter in the night-time economy, i acknowledge that i have a role to play in creating events that are enjoyable and safe for everyone.

I understand that sexual, harassment and assault can go undetected in the night time economy and that failing to act on it when it comes to light causes reputational damage for promoters, the venue and the night life industry overall.

As a Shout-Up! promoter, I commit to working with venues to create events that are as safe as they can be, promoting the Shout-Up! programme and prioritising working with Shout-Up! certified venues. In doing so, I commit to understanding and following the sexual harassment policies the venues have in place.
